FRAGRANT CONVERSATION- ACCEPTANCE WITH FORGIVENESS

by Lynn Kwitt on December 31, 2010

As we look back on this past year in gratitude for those things we have in our lives there are always those regrets looming in the background. ( The I should haves, could haves and  would haves…)

This is when Acceptance (essential oil) and Forgiveness (essential oil) can make a difference. Acceptance oil is a blend of -

Rosewood- Creating a sense of peace and gentleness this oil blends well with others

Geranium- opens the liver chakra to discharge toxins to restore balance

Frankincense-to promote a positive attitude

Blue Tansy- calms the lymphatic system and promotes a feeling of self control

Sandalwood-Assists in the removal of negative programing and allieviates depression

Neroli-encourages, joy ,strength, confidence, peace and sensuality.

The beautiful blue color (from the blue tansy) and it’s unique scent have made acceptance oil one of my very favorites. It has the ability to calm me when I am feeling sad and  ‘out of sorts’. It restores my balance.

Get a sense of where this oil neds to go on your body. I like to just smell it or it is great to diffuse.

Once one accepts where they are without judgment then one can move into forgiveness. I use Forgiveness oil in conjunction with Acceptance oil to be able to forgive myself. It neutralizes guilt, shame, regret and all of those should haves.

Forgiveness essential oil contains even more  than Acceptance oil. Here are the ingredients: Melissa,  Geranium, Frankincense, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Angelica, Lavender, Lemon, Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Palmarosa, Helicrysum and Rose

Some of these oils are repeated: Geranium, Frankincense, Rosewood and Sandalwood are the same- this will enhance the energies of these oils when both blends are used together.

Meilssa- very uplifting, it can lift one out of depression. It is actually lemon balm.

Angelica- rarely usedin Young Living products,  it is  very powerful, helping one to release and let go of negative feelings

Lavender- A universal oil, it works wherever it is needed

Lemon-Invigorates and promotes health, healing and physical energy

Jasmine- Builds self confidence

Roman Chamomile- Expels toxins from the liver. It is calming and soothing

Bergamot- Alleviates depression, relieves anxiety and stress

Ylang Ylang- Promotes self-love, confidence and peace

Palmarosa-Another Young Living oil only used in blends, it speeds healing by stimulating new cell growth

Helicrysum- Cleanses the blood and helps one let go of anger

Rose- Enhances the frequency of every cell bringing balance and harmony to the body.

Gary Young uses Forgiveness oil daily as an aftershave. Try wearing it as a cologne or perfume.

Applying a blend with another blend

When applying a blend with another blend it can get tricky. Here are my recommendations:

Apply each blend on a different part of the body. That way the oils will absorb and go where they need to go without conflicting the energies.

If the oil blends have some of the same components it is safe to layer them on the same area of the body. For example in Acceptance and Forgiveness oil there are several  of the same components.

Try putting open bottles of the blends under your nose to see if you like them together before applying them. You will get a sense if the should be used together.

It’s hard to believe it has been ten years since the turn of the century. Health, wealth and blessings to you all in the New Year!
