25 Foods YOU can Eat to Protect your Cells during this Crisis! Current news agencies have reported that radioisotopes have been found in the rainwater of Minnesota and several other states. The shelves all over the US have been cleared of iodine supplements! There is so much we can do to protect ourselves from this radioactive crisis. Many don’t realize that we can turn to our GOD given unadulterated foods for protection – both raw and cooked!  Foods can protect your body in many different ways! The active ingredients in most fruits and vegetables protect our cells; they bind with toxins (radiation and radioactive isotopes) to disable them and to carry them out effectively eliminating them from the body! Below is a list of 25 different foods you can be adding to your diet to allow a little more radiation protection. First, a reminder about thoroughly washing your vegetables and information about an easy, effective relaxing bath you can take on a regular basis to help pull out any radiation you have been exposed to! Wash your veggies before you eat them! Rinse and soak them carefully before you put them away – they last longer and you will be getting rid of any particles that might be attached, as well as pesticides, parasites and bacteria. Years ago one of my favorite teachers, Dr. Hazel Parcels taught me to use a Clorox bath for 20 minutes to remove contaminates from eggs, meat and vegetables. The recipe is a tablespoon of Clorox for every gallon of rinse water. Clorox is sodium hypochlorite. It breaks down into salt and water. She also recommended a cup of Clorox in a warm bath for 20 minutes to successfully decontaminate nuclear workers. Washing our fruit and vegetables in Clorox does exactly the same thing. I have also been recommending to many patients a relaxing bath using baking soda! This is a therapeutic bath best done before bedtime because it is so relaxing and can help you sleep. Dissolve 2 pounds of baking soda in a tub of water as hot as you can stand it. I like to add a couple drops of a therapeutic grade essential oil. I recommend Melrose, Frankincense, Purification or RC. Stay in the water until it has cooled. Body scrubbing will move the toxins; the hot water will bring them to the surface, the cool medicated water will pull them out. You can also mix ½ tsp of baking soda to sip during this bath. Or take a salt and soda bath with sea salt or rock salt and baking soda. I use 1 – 2 pounds of each. Do not shower for at least 4 hours after either bath. You can spray your skin down with raw apple cider vinegar and water – add a couple of drops of therapeutic grade essential oils. That will re-acidify your skin pH.     Now to the FOOD! Here on the west coast our vegetables have more available iodine than foods grown in the Midwest because of the near vicinity of the ocean. I have included a list of 25 foods that are full of protective agents that you might want to add to your diet. 1. Seaweed or sea vegetables (of any kind! Rotate them and eat a couple of ounces daily. Put it on your dinner, make soup. Seaweed is a proven protector from radiation.) 2. Miso 3. Chorella – all greens are full of chlorophyll which has been shown to be cellularly protective against radiation and fallout. 4. Spirilina 5. Blue green algae 6. Carrots have high levels of pectin – the highest of all vegetables! 7. Apples and other high pectin foods 8. Lemons, limes and other citrus (although “acidic” in nature, they create an alkaline state in the body, they also thin out the bile so they help the gall bladder and liver to function more efficiently.) 9. Brown rice 10. Beets 11. Garlic 12. Onions 13. Ginger 14. Pumpkin and Butternut squash 15. Wheat grass  or barley grass juice and powder 16. Avocados, tomatoes and berries 17. Turmeric 18. Rosemary 19. Legumes and beans 20. Sprouts like alfalfa and fenugreek 21. Green leafy vegetables like kale, spinach, bok choy, beet greens. 22.      Black tea, green tea, tulsi tea and rooibis teas have all been found to be radioprotective.  23.      Sulfur rich foods help the body make protective glutathione like those from the Bressica family including Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, asparagus and chard. 24.      Raw calcium rich foods protect against cesium like raw organic nut butters, sesame seeds and tahini, brazil nuts, pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, and sunflower seeds.  25.      Zeolite, oral bentonite French green clay, pascalite clay, aulterra clay, or any other high quality clays are known to absorb and promote the excretion of toxic substances: For one of the clays take ½ to 1 tsp in water once or twice a day – be sure to drink PLENTY of water with it. Or find a good colon detox formula that has large amounts of apple pectin and Montmorillonite clay. (Be sure to buy high quality clay because many are rich in aluminum and other heavy metals.)  For information  on zeolites check out    www.detoxificationadvice.com     Stay away from the sodas and the sugary, high fructose corn syrup products as well as other processed foods like bread, candy and desserts. They interfere immune function. Basically – nature’s bounty protects its users! The more we eat directly from nature’s incredible and tasty bounty, the more we consume the unadulterated whole foods she has made available to us, the healthier we will become.
